The name “Midori” is a baby girl’s name. The name Midori is of Japanese origin. In Japanese, it means Green.

Our story started from a trip to Seoul, Korea and we both fell in love with a bunny soft toy with long ears, we bought and brought a pair back to Singapore and only after we know that it is originated from Japan. The said toy has a name called “Le Sucre” in French which means “Sugar”. Therefore the bunny comes in white, brown and black and it is also the color of sugar. We both felt that it will be wonderful to bring these items to Singapore to share with others and that’s how we started our business….

While sourcing “Le Sucre”, we found out a wide range of good quality and adorable toys that we can bring in for more people to love and hug. Todate, we not ony have “Le Surce”, we also have “Angela”, “Jibao” and other useful functional toys cum blanket.

We have started selling at Flea markets and now we have 3 pushcarts at different locations. We have been to Yew Tee Point, Westmall, Century Square, Raffles Xchange, Chevron House, Lot 1 Mall, Tampines One, North Point and Compasspoint. We were also been invited by schools and National Healthcare Group to sell at their premises at their events.
